Ankenman Maintains Lead Through Stud, Stud/8
The players traded pots back and forth during the Stud round, with Sergey Altbregin chipping up slightly though remaining well behind Jerrod Ankenman. Just had a largish pot brew at the start of Stud/8 in which Altbregin had the majority of his chips in the middle, but it ended with a split pot. His friend got extremely upset by this and demanded that Sergey at least take the same chair he was sitting in before and switch. He claimed that Albregin was winning all the chips in that chair, so he must stay seated in it. Sergey agreed and switched the chairs, although he is still moved over one seat where seat eight is located, right next to the dealer.

Not Much Happening
Not much has been going on since we switched to Stud/8. Six of the eight hands have been played and only two have seen a showdown. Both times, the pot was chopped between the two players involved. Greg Raymer has stopped by to say hello to Jerrod Ankenman. He even asked Ankenman to count his chips. Also stopping by in the crowd are Timothy "TK" Miles, Jim Geary, Vitaly Lunkin, Matt "HossTBF" Hawrilenko, Gavin Griffin, Alexander Kostritsyn, and Kirill Gerasimov.

The Russians Are Coming!
Jeff Tims seems to be the most active player at the table lately. He's been battling back and forth with Chris Klodnicki, but has now found a new person at the table to go to war with. On two recent hands, Tims has locked horns with Sergey Altbregin. The first hand was a Razz hand where Altbregin made a low of to beat Tims. The next hand was a Stud hand where Tims folded angrily on seventh street to a bet from Altbregin. Tims is down to 370,000 now, while Altbregin has moved up to 720,000.
