Solid Like a Brock; Parker Wins Second WSOP Bracelet in One Week ($552,745)
Truly a stunning day, as just days after winning Event #14, Brock 'Tsoprano' Parker did it all again to win his second bracelet within a week beating over a 1,000 players during this 3-day tournament.
He entered the final table in second place behind Joe Serock, the latter dominating the early parts of the final table. Serock and Parker got heads up and Parker managed to get the advantage early on.
Serock did battle back but Parker won crucial pots and finally finished off his opponent for a famous victory.
Congratulations to Brock Parker, winner of Event #14 and now also the winner of Event #19!

Punch-Counterpunch
First, Brock Parker got a walk. Then Parker raised from the button to 200,000, and Joe Serock folded. Next, Serock made the 200,000 preflop raise, and Parker folded.
On the next hand, Parker again opened with a raise to 200,000. This time Serock reraised to 540,000, and Parker quickly pushed back with a big reraise to 1.5 million. Serock exhaled with a weary look, and folded.

Brock, Joe... and Steve?
We just had a change of announcers, and it took the new one a few hands to learn that Joe Serock's name was not, in fact, Steve.
The announcer was back on track, but after Serock took that last hand, his cheering section had an idea.
"Ship it to Steve! Let's go, Steve!"
Serock took the next small pot, and surely thanks to the suggestion from the bleachers, the announcer slipped again. It appears that mental battle will be the much less significant game-within-game going forward.

Back and Forth We Go
After Joe Serock took down that big pot to get back even, we're starting to see some more postflop action, relatively speaking, although the counts remain approximately even.
First, Serock raised to 200,000 from the button, and Brock Parker called. The flop came all clubs:

. Parker led out for 325,000, and Serock folded.
On the next one, Parker raised to 200,000 from the button, and Serock called. The flop came

Joe now bets 625,000 and Brock gets up out of his chair for a second, for the first time looking a little anxious. He calls and Joe shows

Incredibly that's the first hand shown down in about 40 minutes.

Joe Serock -- 3,990,000

Parker is now up over 5 million, while Serock has slipped below 3 million.

Bullish Brock
Both players continue to play with the same expressionless demeanors they've carried since we began at noon. Brock Parker did just suppress a yawn, and Joe Serock rubbed his eyes, but both seem intensely focused on the chips, cards, and each other.
But so far at least -- whatever their cards have been -- one player has clearly had the upper hand.
Just now Parker took another decent-sized pot. Following some preflop and flop betting, Brock bet 200,000 on the turn with the board showing

, and Serock called. When the river brought the
, Brock fired 350,000, and Serock folded.

And in the next hand Serock limps the button and Parker immediately makes it 200,000 more to play and Serock folds once more.
Brock Parker -- 3,200,000
Joe Serock -- 4,800,000

A Break in the Routine
Both players have raised their button at each opportunity thus far. In most cases, the raise has been met with a call, and the hand then ends with a flop bet.
Just now we saw a change in the pattern, as Brock Parker raised to 150,000, Joe Serock reraised to 420,000, Parker pushed all in, and Serock folded.
Serock has about 5.1 million now, and Parker about 2.9 million.

Brock, Brock, Brocking On Heaven's Door
Serock raises to 150,000 and Parker calls. The rainbow flop of
is put down, Parker checks and Serock continues with a bet of 165,000 which is enough to win this little skirmish.
Both of these players really are under quite some pressure, Serock because of his big chip lead, and Parker because of his chance to win two bracelets in less than a week.
