Tom Chambers Eliminated in Second Place

After a little back and forth, there was an exciting moment when Chambers was all in on fifth street, but they chopped it and play continued.
Omaha-8
Back to Omaha, and the tension was mounting, both players now standing up out of their chairs, and a huge crowd gathered to watch the David and Goliath chip stacks battle it out.
Rouhani called on the button, and Chambers raised. Call.
Flop:

Chambers in Trouble
Omaha-8
Moments later, Chambers finds himself nearing the felt and trapped in his own chamber of horrors with just 145,000.
On a flop of

, Rouhani's bet is raised by Chambers. "Uh-oh," says Rouhani as he calls.
A
turn leads to more aggression from Chambers, and again Rouhani calls.
Both players check down the
river, leading to Rouhani taking yet another pot down with

Chambers is in dire straits now, but there's no money for nothing in this game, and it's not over until that final chip is gone.

Rouhani Continues To Dominate
Omaha-8
The two players reach a river of a

board after Chambers had bet through the streets.
As Chambers checks, Rouhani comments, "Ah, check on the river, interesting, eight-seven doesn't check the river. I bet!"
Reluctantly, Chambers makes the call, to which Rouhani responds, "Three kings, I got lucky," showing

in the process.
Chambers mucks and is now down to 300,000.

Chambers Made Sad
Stud-8:
After conceding a hand to Chambers on fourth street, muttering, "Take this one down," as Chambers boasted three hearts up, the two tangled in a more serious manner.
Chambers was the aggressor all the way down until sixth street, when he made a pained call to Rouhani's bet upon making a pair of tens up.
Chambers:
Rouhani:
Rouhani bet seventh street, and Chambers folded instantly.
Down to 500,000.

Heads Up
Heads up, Rouhani says to Chambers, "All right buddy, it's just you and I. We chuck all the enemies out, we don't have to be any more."
Chambers takes the initial lead, turning a set of fives in stud to beat Rouhani's flopped set of fours. "Wow!" he concedes. "Nice hand." Chambers moves up to around 650,000 -- still behind, but closing in.

Yueqi Zhu Eliminated in 4th for $63,807
Omaha-8
The action is faster than a cheetah on roller skates now, Yueqi Zhu falling at the hands of Farzad Rouhani after numerous failed attempts.
One of those missiles that went astray was fired the very hand prior to his exit, Rouhani taking a shot at his foe with

versus

.
Sadly for the chip leader, the board didn't oblige, coming

for the split pot.
"What the hell was that?" joked Rouhani. "I read somewhere that this hand was meant to be good."
-------
Moments later, Zhu was finally gone after the pluckiest of performances that would have made Rocky Balboa look like a quitter.
All in once again against Rouhani, Zhu had

but found himself up against the foreboding sight of Rouhani's

. No help on the board and Zhu was gone
"I guess I got it," finsihed Rouhani as Zhu left to a polite applause.

Miami John Doubles Through
Omaha-8
Joy for John Cernuto who has doubled up what was looking like a very short stack indeed thanks to neighbor and chip daddy Farzad Rouhani.
Cernuto raised the button, Rouhani, after asking for a count on Zhu's stack in the big blind, announced reraise, and a pot-committed Cernuto called.

A nice friendly board for Cerntuo sees the veteran shoot up to the 160,000 mark.

Zhu Loses Crucial Pot
Omaha-8
With blinds of 10,000 and 20,000, John Cernuto raises it up to 40,000, before being called by Yueqi Zhu in the small blind and Tom Chambers in the big.
A

flop sees Chambers bet out for 20,000, Cernuto fold and Zhu call.
Chambers also bets the
turn, this time 40,000, and again Zhu makes the call.
Both men then check the
river, the lack of any low giving the whole pot to Chambers who wins with

Zhu and Rouhani Clash Again
Omaha-8
Still just keeping his head above water, Yueqi "Rich" Zhu has doubled through Farzad Rouhani. Blind on blind, Rouhani asked to see the size of Zhu's stack before he decided what to do preflop. He opted to call, and then bet out the
flop. Zhu raised, and Rouhani called.
"How much?" Rouhani enquired, before checking the
turn. Zhu stuck in his last 51,000, and Rouhani called.
Zhu:
Rouhani:
"Oh no," sighed Rouhani, "I need some low."
River:
"Not that kind of low."
Zhu doubled up to around 210,000, although he lost a few of them back the next hand, calling Tom Chambers as far as fourth street in a stud hand.

Zhu Survives
Omaha-8
Yueqi Zhu must be a closet Star Trek fan, as he's been a real "cling on" of late, recently finding himself all in on the turn of a

board with only Grag Pappas standing in his way.
Pappas made the call and showed

. Zhu had

"Two of clubs would be my perfect card," announced Pappas.
"Bingo!" he exclaimed as the
hit the river, but it wasn't not a scoop, Pappas taking the high with a flush, but losing out to Zhu's A-3-4-6-7 low.

Rouhani Running the Show
Our chip leader at the start of the day Farzad Rouhani is racing ahead, increasing his stack to around 900,000 at the moment. The next biggest stack is John Cernuto, on around 400,000. Cernuto had more, but just lost a massive Omaha pot to Rouhani, who rivered a small flush to scoop.
Looking a bit deperate currently is Yueqi "Rich" Zhu, on just 70,000.
