Bodog Satellites

Bodog is running a satellite series they’ve aptly name Cheap Seat Tournaments. For only $1 you can win a seat in their main Event Quarterfinal. A seat to the quarterfinal will be awarded for every 29 players entered. They run twice a day at 11:15 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. EST every day of the week. There is also a nonrebuy series for $1.50 that also runs twice daily at 2:20 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. every day of the week.

Main Event S&Gs run around the clock for $14.50+.50 and first place gains entry to their Main Event Last Chance satellite. Another feeder for their Main Event Quarterfinal is through their 100 FPP satellite.

If you choose to bypass the Cheap Seat and S&G series then you can play in their Semifinal Main Event tournaments. One Main Event seat at the WSOP will be awarded for every 48 entries in the $250-20 tournament on top of the already guaranteed four seats.

Carbon Poker Satellites

CarbonPoker is offering two paths to the WSOP Main Event, one for MTT players and another for Sit & Go players. For as little as $2 you can begin your path to the Main Event.

Sit & Go players can enter a $2 five player S&G and the winner advances to a six player $10+1 tournament. From there you can win entry to the Grand Final, a $250+25 MTT. These S&Gs run everyday, 24 hours a day. You can skip a step and play either the $10+1 or the $55+1.

MTT players can also start with a $2+.20 MTT. Should you win the first MTT you will get direct entry into the $55+5 Sunday Guraneteed tournament where the winner will earn a trip to the Grand Final. If you place high enough in the $2 MTT you can get a tournament ticket to the $10+1 in which the winner will get a direct buy-in to the Grand Final. Like the S&Gs, you can start at whichever you like.

The $2 MTTs run everyday at 6:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 1:45 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and midnight all at CST. The $10 MTTs run every day at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. CST. The $55 MTT runs every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 6:00 p.m. CST.

Of course direct entry into the WSOP Grand Final is also available for a direct buy-in for $420+40. The Grand Final takes place on May 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m., CST.

CEREUS (Absolute Poker & UltimateBet) Satellites

CEREUS is running WSOP Main Event qualifiers and satellites from both sites, Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker. Ultimate Bet celebrates their tenth anniversary by offering two different ways to qualify for the Main Event at the WSOP. They have a step tournament format, with a total of ten steps for their WSOP Main Event qualifier, and a “Beat the Brat” contest.

If you knockout Phil Hellmuth in any of their $30+3 tournaments every Tuesday in May and you will win a seat in their 50 seat WSOP guarantee tournament that takes place June 21st at 5:30 p.m. EST.

Absolute Poker is running a step tournament series similar to UB. Every Sunday the site has their Super Sunday Satellite that can be directly bought into for $500+30. At least one 12k package will be awarded each week.

Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker are also adding a special incentive to any player that wins their seat from either the CEREUS brands. If you should happen to win the Main Event they will pay you a $10 million bonus.

Doyles Room Satellites

Doyle’s Room not only wants to send you the Main Event at this year’s WSOP, they wan to give the 2009 WSOP Experience. Not only will the site pay the $10,000 entry fee and provide $3,000 for travel and accommodations, you will have an experience no other online site can offer. Winner’s will have a private strategy session with Mike “The Mad Genius” Caro, a private dinner with Doyle Brunson and Team Brunson VIPs, full access to all Team Brunson and DoylesRoom events, and a personally autographed Super System 1 and 2 leather bound book set.

For MTT players four daily qualifiers are held for 2 Gold Chips, 10 Gold Chips, $5+.50, and $20+2. The 2 Gold Chip tournament gives 7 seats in the Main Even Semi-Final and the 10 Gold Chip gives 5 seats in the Main Event Final. The $5+.50 awards a $75 seat in the Main Event Semi-Final and the $20+2 awards a seat to the Main Event Final. The Main Event Semi-Final is each Sunday at 1:00 p.m. EST. The Main Event Final is held at 4:00 p.m. EST on Sunday as well.

S&G players have a Step Satellite series that starts at $7.50 for the first step. First and second place finishers will get to a Step 2, which is a $30 buy-in S&G. First and second place finishers will move onto the third step which is a $110 buy-in. The top two finishers in the third step will move onto the Main Event Final held on Sundays

Full Tilt Poker Satellites

Full Tilt poker has several ways they plan to send their players to the World Series of Poker. The site is offering a 150 seat guarantee to the Main Event in packages worth $12,000. You can directly buy-in to the tournament that takes place on Sunday June 21st at 6:00 p.m. for $500+35 or you can satellite your way through Full Tilt Points, freerolls, or you can start for only $1.

If you’re a first time depositor on the site or you refer a friend you’ll receive a direct entry to one of four daily Round 2 freerolls to make the big qualifier. They are also offering a shoot out format MTT three times daily at 3:30 p.m. EST, 8:30 p.m. EST, and 9:30 p.m. EST. One 12k Main Event Package will be awarded for each 81 player tournament, for a buy-in of $200+16.

In addition to the 500 players Full Tilt plans to send to the Main Event they have added a special incentive. If you earn your Main Event seat through the site, Full Tilt will award a bonus of $10 million.

PokerStars Satellites

The site that has sent more players to the Main Event than any other site has rolled up their sleeves and has three different paths to qualify for the WSOP. These can be easily found from the main lobby by clicking the Events tab and select WSOP.

Daily satellites starting at $2 up to $225 can be found. Both MTT and S&G satellites are offered, as well as, shootouts. A weekly qualifier on Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. EST can be directly bought into as well for $650 or there is a High Roller Qualifier that runs every Friday at 8:30 p.m. EST for $1,050.

Players can use the FPP points to enter daily satellites for either 400 FPP or 40 FPP. The 400 FPP awards one entry to the 4,000 FPP Final for every ten players that enter. The 40 FPP awards one entry to the 4,000 FPP Final for every 100 players that enter. The weekly FPP on Saturdays at 4:00 p.m. EST awards three WSOP packages a week.

The step series can be started for as little as $7.50 or 500 FPP. Direct entry can be bought to any of the steps, totaling six steps total. The top two finishers in each step will win entry into the next step up.

Titan Poker

Titan Poker is not only running satellites for the Main Event at this year’s WSOP, they are also offering two other packages for players to compete in. Unique to Titan Poker are the three different packages players can compete in. The first is a No Limit Hold’em Side Events package and the second is the World Championship of Pot Limit Omaha. Each of these prize packs includes airfare and hotel.

The Main Event package will provide the $10,000 buy-in, seven nights at the Rio Hotel, registration fees, and airfare plus spending money. Direct buy-ins are available for $500+35.

Players will have a chance to compete for two $1,500 buy-in events, events 28 and 34 that will run from June 11th through June 19th. Direct buy-in to the super satellites are available for $200+15 if you choose to not win your way through.
