The Small Town Poker Tour announced today the formation of a new series of charity poker events to be held throughout the state of Louisiana beginning in April and running through October.

The new series, which has been dubbed the Gator Flop Series, bring a new twist to charity poker; in addition to prize money being awarded the series will use a point system. The player with the most points at the end of the series will receive a $7500 seat to the World Series Of Poker-Circuit event in New Orleans next November.

“We are looking forward to expanding the STPT on a regional basis and the Gator Flop Series will kick off this endeavor”, stated Mark Fracalossi STPT Creator. “We look ahead to launching more regional series in the future.”

The STPT has been traveling the country the last few years raising money for charity and giving players an experience you usually find in larger buy-in events. The STPT has provided many charities a vehicle to raise funds in a non traditional but effective manner.

“We still have a few open dates and any Louisiana Charity can contact us to become part of this series”, said Mitchell "Moose" Antley, who will head up the Gator Flop Series.

If you would like more information about the series or would like to get your charity involved please contact Moose at 318-801-0168. For the current event dates and times please visit www.smalltownpokertour.com
