Earlier in the day Friday “EMSBas” took down Event #4 of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series VII. That left Event #5, $216 Stud Hi/Lo, for online poker players to chase down before the weekend began.
The event actually produced the smallest field to date, 645 players, but continued to follow the early trend with a total prize pool, $129,000, that surpassed the guaranteed amount of $100,000.
The final table would be the first to feature a former world champion. Berry Johnston, who took home the World Series of Poker Main Event in 1986, made the final table and finished fourth. Johnston's finish is the best by a red Full Tilt pro during this installment of FTOPS.
But the big winner was “ voguepergola” who took home $27,735. Posting a second place finish was “ dman13” who won $19,902.
