Full Tilt Online Poker Series VII’s Saturday schedule started off with Event #6, a $535 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha tournament. The smallest field yet for an FTOPS VII event, 637 players, still managed to break through the $300,000 guaranteed prize pool by $18,500.
The $68,477.50 first place prize money of went to “mmmadd” while runner-up “scatterbrain123” had a $44,908.50 payday.
Scott Fischman continues to be the hottest of the red Full Tilt pros. Finishing 12th for $3,822 Fischman added that to his 18th place finish in Event #1 and his 45th place finish in Event #4. Only Berry Johnston, who finished 4th in Event #5 has posted a better finish.
FTOPS VII action continues Saturday with Event #7, a $109 buy-in No Limit Hold’em with rebuys event, and Event #8, a $535 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Heads-Up tournament, and Event #9, a $322 buy-in No Limit Hold’em tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $1.5 million.
