A Saturday afternoon field of 1,811 players, combined with 2,675 rebuys and 1,041 add-ons, gave Event #7 of Full Tilt Online Poker Series VII a total prize pool of $552,700 and a first place prize of $102,249.50.
Taking that first place prize was Dutch poker pro Jorn “jornx” Walthaus who came out on top of one of the toughest fields yet in FTOPS VII. “Sebop” finished as the runner-up and took home $63,007.80.
The only red Full Tilt pro to make the money was Erick Lindgren, who finished 13th. Stuart Paterson finished 262nd right on the bubble.
Sunday will see FTOPS VII action continue with two more events leading up to the two-day $2,500 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event starting next Sunday.
