So, you've got your poker chip set, a snazzy little table and the finest plastic cards money can buy. You and your friends are the hottest new talents to hit the poker scene, as the shades and baseball caps testify. One problem - none of you can shuffle to save your lives. The announcement from Shuffle Tech might just be the blessing you were looking for...

Shuffle Tech, a company that was formed by Hiro Toyama, has announced plans to start distributing their automatic card shuffler in 2008. Similar to those used in casinos, they should make home games run that much more smoothly, with no need to ever perform the dreaded fifty-two card pick-up with those nice plastic cards any more! For those who are really into their home games, Shuffle Tech will also offer a mounting kit that will make your home game experience just like the casinos. The shuffler will be mounted into the poker table with this option.

The unit is expected to have a retail price of $479, which is much cheaper than the similar devices used in casinos which can go upwards of $15,000. That means the market is wide open if the product delivers what it claims it can. The shuffler is set to be distributed through high-end casino supply stores and on the company's website: www.ShuffleTech.com
