    Posted: 12-February-2006 at 2:52am

Ok, so I just spoke with Michael Craig, and yes, Andy Beal will be playing
tomorrow morning at Wynn. No word yet, as to who he is playing, or
what prompted the return. Various reports elsewhere all stated that Andy
had retired from Poker. Must have felt great to publish that, and than
write find out that he is planning to play 2 days later.

Apparently there was always a plan to resume play. I hear that there was
a game set in DALLAS, for last night which was aborted at the last minute.
Anyway, Im not sure if I will be able to make it out for updates, but I will
do my best to give you all the news on Andy Beal vs. The Corporation
PART 2.

***Negotiations have been ongoing from the moment the game ended on
Sunday. Andy tried desperately to get the pro's to Dallas, with no luck.
He wants to give it a go one more time, before his schedule will take him
away from Poker for quite some time. The whole, I retired bit which
others reported was just a smokescreen....

***Play will begin today at 11AM PST.  Stakes will remain 50K-100K.  Still no word on who will be playing for the group.  When Andy left the Wynn before the Super Bowl last week, he still felt like he could beat the pro's.  He felt that early on he was much sharper than he was on day 5, and that if he gave it another shot and kept the game short, 2-3 days, he would and could play his best poker. He was never scheduled to play in the NBC Heads up Championship, although he was invited.  I hear this time around, we will only see action on Sunday and Monday, for about 6 hours each day.

You might want to reconsider that. If this thread gets as much action as the other one, people will wait and see if the thread's been added to, and we'll be on page 6. Maybe at least bump the thread each time with "check the first post" or "updated first post" or something so people know.

Have you tried putting calls out to some of the Vegas resident pros? See if someone would be willing to sit there and report as you had?

I have people scoping the game for me...no worries there.  The info we get here at Bluff will be pretty accurate. It just may not be as fast paced.

****UPDATE****

Andy Beal Had a HUGE day at the tables.  Play resumed today, at 11PST.  I guess last week was just a lead in, because there were fire works today.  From the looks of things Jennifer was playing very agressively all day, and Andy countered that agression with a relentless attack of his own.  There were many more showdowns, and heavily contested pots.

With both sides starting with 4 racks (10 million) It looked like Andy Beal has erased his loss from last week, and pulled ahead.  Word is that, Andy while ahead all day, finsihed the day up almost 2 Racks, or 5 Million dollars.  Jennifer battled back from being down most of the day, but everytime she was ready to pull even, Andy would find a way to win a big pot.  It seems to me this was by far the most spirited match of the 6 days of play.

In Attendance were some familiar faces.  David Grey, Johnny Chan, Minh Ly were all in the room for some parts of the match.  Also making his first appearance at Wynn, was none other than the man himself Doyle Brunson.

Play will resume early tomorrow morning.  While we knew that Todd was probably playing tomorrow, I know have even bigger news.  Since Todd is not really a morning person, Doyle Brunson is stepping up to the plate.  Yes you heard me....Doyle Brunson will be playing Andy Beal tomorrow morning!!!

Ill get more info if I can, and of course tune back tomorrow.
