I see there is a "Super Mega satellite step 2" in Atlantic City on March 3.  $560 buy in.  What exactly does that mean?  I have let a message on the phone for WSOP but got no response.  Can anyone help?

As in past years at the WSOP Circuit Event at Caesars Atlantic City, this satellite is a lead-in to the $5,150 3-day Main Event scheduled for Friday, March 12th.  You can buy into a satellite at either Step 1 or Step 2.
If I remember correctly, Step 1 is held on the night prior to Step 2.  Step 1 is normally a $125 buy-in and awards one seat to Step 2 for every 5 entrants.  Step 2 then awards one seat to the Main Event for every 10 entrants.
Assuming you do the math to determine your odds of actually collecting any CASH winnings, if you enter Step 1, you have a one in five hundred chance of cashing.  That's based upon a 1-in-5 chance (Step 1) multiplied by a 1-in-10 chance (Step 2) multiplied by a 1-in-10 chance (Main Event).
