I think it all depends on whether or not Moon tries some fancy play syndrome.
From what Ive seen so far its pretty much abc poker, and according to Moon thats the strategy he used during the whole wsop.
Unless Moon comes back in November and tries something differant and I dont expect he will, he should be very predictable.
The pro's wont get involved with anything less than the nuts,(with Moon) because the last player you want to get tangled up with is the guy who can bust you out in a single hand.

Moon will be outplayed but still finish somewhere in the top 4 due to his solid style and large chip stack.
I thought Yang was still on the poker circuit but not doing well, or am I full of it? Does he only show up for WSOP stuff?

I just hope he doesnt have the same string of bad luck Dennis Phillips had the first ffew hands of last years main event. I felt bad for him losing a major part of his stack in the first several hands. Did Moon hire a coach? I though i read he hired Hellmuth. So you know there s going to be some "taking advantage" of his stack size.........

The guy has over 58 million chips. That bring said, I'm going with Shulman. Phil Ivey is the obvious pick, but can't see him winning the whole thing.

Nsh, not Shulman. I think the rest of the pros will beat up on him for threatening to throw the bracelet away! I know I would.

Hellmuth was hired by Jeff Schulman, whoever wins the ME is gonna have to get real lucky against Moon, I just dont see Moon getting involved in a hand unless he has something like a top 10 hand.

I have played with Darvin in several tournaments at Wheeling Island where he won his WSOP seat. I've read, seen and heard several folks talking about "Who is Darvin Moon?" , "Is he better than he;'s leading us to believe?", "Is the backwoods logger image just an act?".
I can guarantee you that he is just what we all have seen. He's not real comfortable with all the attention. He is a very nice and humble family guy. He cares about his business and his employees. And he is not a good poker player. There's no tricky moves up his sleeve. I've seen him make more bad decisions than good. To my knowledge, he has only had two decent finishes in any tournament....His WSOP seat win and now making the Nov 9. If he never has a good run at another major event, the rest of the poker world will never see him again. He has no plan of going pro nor does he want sponsored by online poker sites. He doesn't want the life style of having to be away from home to fill sponsor obligations playing events all over the place. That just isn't his style. I have talked with Darvin a few times at Wheeling and most of what I said here is straight from his mouth. Some of what I said here i got second hand from others that have set at a table with him in recent months. My prediction.....Darvin stays out of hands unless he AQ suited or better, maybe middle pairs if in position. He'll Check fold his way to at least 4th. No matter what happens, Darvin will be the same Darvin on Nov 10 2009 as he was on Nov 10 2008. He is a truly humble man and deserves all the good that has been happening to him! Thanks for posting that Mark. I and everybody else knows and realizes he is the underdog of the century yet has a monster chip stack behind him.
Like I stated previously, my take is, like you have said, he will play ABC poker and whatever happens happens. Of course hardcore poker players are pulling Phil Ivey to take it down, Im sure more than a few of us love the cinderella stories too.
Wont be long now and we will all see, Im miffed cause I missed the airing this past tuesday nite and havent caught the replay yet.
