My son in law came back from a 18 month tour in Iraq and to kill time some guys in his troop made there own poker tbl out of plywood.  They did some nice artwork with a  airbrush and covered it with a clear poly finish( was a iraqi grade and took days to dry he said).  Their Deployment ended and the troop gave the table to my son in law to take with him and to care for, he was honored that they intrusted it to him.  There are deployment coins embedded in between each cup holder and 1 guy added his belt buckle.   He also has the chips they used and the deck of cards had a "sandy Gritty" texture to them from the desert sand.  was made of a sheet of plywood and only has 2x4 legs but the "scene" airbrushed on the top-side speaks for its self

Would you ask your son in law if he'd mind if I pasted that to the top of the Screaming Eagle Poker myspace page?

I'd also like to post the names/ranks/mos' of his friends who played on that awesome table throughout their depoyment.
